A Look Around Blind Spots

Published July 28, 2016 By Mick Farmer

Blind spots are anywhere where we can’t see without moving our vision. Most common ones which everyone is (or should be aware of) are the ones to the side of the vehicle.

Mirrors and peripheral vision don’t quite cut it and we have to glance in that direction to see what’s going on.

Modern vehicles have much bigger pillars, for strength and to hide bags and curtains. “A” pillars, for example, have been dubbed the killer pillar. They can easily hide pedestrians, bikes and smart cars.

Then we’ve got the add-on: HF Radio Antennae

Why put them on the front? And right in front of a driver? It’s really one of those things that just gets to me.
