Total Recovery & Extraction Device (TREDS) – Work Well.

Published June 18, 2014 By Mick Farmer

Been using these on our recovery course; they work very well. Especially when you have difficulty reversing out of the situation you’ve just driven into.

Would recommend to anyone who works with 4wds in areas where operational requirements determine that vehicles may get stuck.

Treds - Recovery

Why pink? Our procurement person is a girl.  Need I say more.

In action (from training):

This is their blurb:

TREDs are the ultimate all-in-one 4×4 & ATV (two sizes) recovery device in sand, mud, sludge, slime or snow. Designed and manufactured in Australia from specifically engineered polyolefin materials, TREDs can handle intense levels of torque, flex, weight and impact. With a designated shovel feature, extreme hex grip nodules, dual size offering, aggressive ramp entry teeth and ultimate wear resistant properties, TREDs are the best option to get you going when loss of traction disrupts your journey.
